Meta-Analysis the Effect of Sensory Integration Therapy on Sensoric and Motoric Development in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Background: It is estimated that 90% of children diagnosed with ASD will show impaired sensory processing. Children processing problems present delayed motor development which caused by an underlying disorder in their ability to interpret sensations. Sensory integration therapy one the therapeutic methods overcome and problems. This study aims estimate effect on autism spectrum disorders. Subjects Method: research was conducted using a systematic review design meta-analysis PRISMA flow diagrams. The article search process carried out between 2011-2021 databases from PubMed, Science Direct, AJOT, Springer Link, Google Scholar. keywords used are “sensory integration” OR therapy” “ayres intervention” stimulation” AND processing” skills” system” “motor skills ” develop¬mental” “autism disorder” “autism”. Based database, there were 16 articles met inclusion criteria. Randomized Control Trial (RCT). analysis RevMan 5.3 software. Results: consisting continents Asia, America, Australia. Results showed improved (SMD = 0.14; 95% CI -0.64 0.92; p 0.73) 0.42; -0.27 1.11; 0.24).
